La Corona: Golden Age
The story behind the collection

La Corona: Golden Age

The cigar brand La Corona was established in Havana in 1845.

Its factory was one of the earliest in the capital city, and the company that owned La Corona later became one of the largest cigar manufacturers in Cuba.

The panoramic and elaborate art of this vintage cigar label reflects a vision of Cuba's grandeur in the transatlantic world of the Spanish empire.

Stories From Our Collectors

Beautiful old photograph with nice watercolor paper. Reminds me of my trip to Cuba in 2017, but this photo shows Trinidad in another time. Great details.

Helen, Naperville

This 1950s Cuba photograph works so well with my mid-century decor. And the image by the beach, with shadows of the woman and round table - just gorgeous.
