Story Behind the Art
The H. Upmann cigar factory was registered in Cuba by 1845. Started by brothers Herman and August, the company’s manufacturing and exports grew well into the early 1900s.
The art in this label’s design boldly displays the H. Upmann name and its many international awards.
The gold medallions circle around bold text in bright orange and yellow. And, above, is the ornate royal crest of Spain and two Upmann logo stamps, both design elements that also appeared on the cigar boxes and bands through the years.

Preserved from a rare, early 20th-century guide, the art's high resolution retains the mechanical halftone effect and rich details of the original turn-of-the-century press work.
Available on 100% cotton rag paper of 300gsm. Framed and ready to hang in solid oak to size 24x32", or gold-tone metal to size 18x24", both with real glass. Also Unframed to size 30x40”.
